Now in Lebanon: Samsung mobile charging stations!

You’ve seen them at airports around the world, you’ve used them to desperately recharge your life and now one of your favorite mobile brands are deploying them in Lebanon!

Yes, you guessed it, Mobile Charging Docks which allow you to recharge your phone are now in Beirut, thanks to an initiative by Samsung CTC.

The first station was seen at Roadster Hamra and consists of Samsung chargers inside numerous secure boxes allowing you to enjoy a meal while holding the key to your cellular charging drawer.

Another awesome benefit is keeping smart phones on the lock down and far from people so that their owners can enjoy a meal away from notifications and most importantly take some time to socialize!

Hoping to witness these stations at numerous Roadster branches as well as other popular diners, can’t say but kudos to Samsung CTC for always proving to be the pioneers in bringing a new and better life experience for all their customers.

Conveniently forgot to mention this “initiative” is also a giant billboard for Samsung. I am surprised we don’t see these chargers inside the ministry of telecom alongside the giant Samsung banners and all the gifts they gave out to make us think our internet was getting better. See:

Thanks Habib for your comment. In my humble opinion, even if it is a giant billboard for Samsung at least it’s an advertising idea that is useful to the people. Many people or organizations advertise with zero added value.

Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s useful and interesting to post. I just think it is also important to understand the context here, to recognize the marketing value and also to think about the role Samsung has played in our telecom industry in its relationships with high level officials.
