Just a few weeks ago, the Arab world woke up to one surprising piece of news.
Plastered all over the media channels, the headlines read “UAE exempt from VISA to all the European territories”.
The reciprocal bilateral short stay visa agreement signed between the European Union and the UAE exempts the latter’s citizens from Schengen visa making it the first Arab country to receive such a visa waiver for its nationals.
Meanwhile in Lebanon, a new list of Schenghen Visa requirements has been leaked and Blog of the Boss is the first to publish it online.
Below is the list of items every Lebanese should present to request a VISA to Europe:
This not-so-serious list raises a very serious question. Why isn’t Lebanon, whose second official language is French, on top of the list when it comes to Schenghen exemption? What are the political or economic obstacles stopping the upgrade of our passport’s international rank?
Should any other items be on the list? Share in the comment box!
